Why the $ Price is shown along with Indian Rupees? Do I need to pay in $ ?
All the offline (Domestic) and online (Domestic and Overseas both) transactions will be done in Indian Rupees. $ value is only for the overseas customers who want to pay offline (by overseas cheque etc.) in US Dollar.
How the Indian Rupees to US$ conversion is done?
US$ price shown on our website is achieved by dividing Indian Rupees value by a conversion factor which varies as per the US$-INR variation in market.
How my Credit / Debit card will be charged in local currency ?

Furthermore, Axis Bank also asks you to enter the CVV (Credit Verification Value) number on your credit card. We will send your order by Indian Postal Service (both for Domestic and Overseas).
How much are the shipping charges?
Shipping charges will be shown during Checkout.
What is the estimated delivery time?
For Domestic Shipping - The estimated time of delivery is 7-10 days.
For Overseas Shipping - The estimated time of delivery is 15-20 days by Air Mail.
For Out of Stock books: Currently we do not have these books available for sale. Please visit our site periodically for update.
What about other taxes and levies like sales tax, octroi etc.?

Checking the Status of Your Order
How do I check the current status of my orders?
You can review the status and other information of all your orders, whether pending or shipped, that you have placed with Gitapress.org. To check the status of your pending orders, click on the Chcek Order Status link in the top menu under "My Account". This will take you to your Order Status, where you can view the status of all orders.
To view the detail of a specific order, click on the “Order Number”.
What do the different order status mean ?
Payment Pending : Payment has not been done yet.
Payment Processing : Your Payment is under Processing.
Order in Process : We have received authorization from the payment gateway and are processing your order.
Shipped : Your order has been shipped and is on its way to your delivery location.
Cancelled : The order is cancelled.
What to do in case of Online Payment failure or other problems related to online payment ?
Please do not resubmit your order in case of online payment failure. You only need to forward order mail (you received) to payments@gitapress.org with your message and we will provide you alternate payment mode. Please also mention your preferred payment mode (if any).
When and how can I request for change details (address etc.) of my order ?
Please check the detail carefully before placing order. Any alteration request will result in shipping delay. However you can request for change the details of your order before it reaches the "Shipped" state. You can do so by sending us an email at support@gitapress.org with the order number. Please note such requests will be entertained once only.
